I love birthdays!  If I had to choose one event that brings me the most joy, it would be the celebration of a birthday.  I look forward to celebrating the beginning of a new year and the advent of worthwhile goals.  Birthday celebrations would be incomplete without a birthday cake.  Birthday cakes are special because of the abundance of edible decorations and frostings.  The older I get I find that a full-size cake is more than I can handle.  Cupcakes have taken the place of a traditional birthday cake in my heart.  I can still blow out the candles, hopefully only two, and eat the whole cake in one sitting.

The stamping class in July will feature various of various birthday cards featuring the “Hello Cupcake” stamp set by Stampin’Up!.  This stamp set was a part of the 2019 Sale-A-Bration promotion and is very versatile when paired with other stamp sets are by itself.   Because it was a part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion, it is no longer available for purchase.  However, if you come to the July Stamping Class on July 13, 2019, I will have four sets available.   At the Stamping Class for July, you will also be able to use the stamp set to create the five cards pictured below.

Along with the five cards seen above, you will also make a treat bag that can hold a gift card or an edible item.  The treat bag is featured at the beginning of this post.  The July Stamping Class will be held in the Log cabin at McPherson Park on July 13th, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.  The participation fee, which includes all your supplies, is $22.00 per person.  All who are interested, please contact the Mcpherson Park Center at www.rec.greenvillesc.gov or contact the demonstrator at www.Ladybugcardz.com for more information.  Registration will be held from June 10 through July 8th.
