Hi Stampers, this is Mary of LadybugCardz. I have not posted since the Pandemic started, but I am back on track and eager to get back into action. Although I did not post, it does not mean that I was not busy creating. In this post, I’m going to share with you some of the cards I’ve made for the sick and to celebrate holidays. I look forward to posting again soon with what I am working on now.
Those of you who know me, share with me my love of diversity in my crafting. You will find that I will be using different stamp companies to bring about the results I want. I will give a shout-out to individuals I CASE and hope I do their designs justice.
The first card I want to share with you is the one shown above: This is an A2 card base using several Stampin’Up! products. The base was made from “Pacific Point”, a stampin’ up! cardstock. Other products I used from Stampin’Up were Pacific Point ink pad, Mango Melody ink pad, Melon Mambo ink pad, and Old Olive ink pad. The background stamping was done using the “Hello” TurnAbout by Concord & 9th. I followed that up with an old stamp set called “Fly Bye Friends” from My Favorite Things.
This next card was fun and time-consuming. I made this for the women that attended church with me, so you can imagine that although it was an effort to show my love and appreciation, I was glad when I had completed all of them. This is a beautiful stamp and die set by Papertrey Ink called “Beautiful Bouquet”. There are two other dies that are essential to this set, “Beautiful Bouquet Background” and “Go To Gift Card Holder: Flowerpot”. I used a variety of Stampin’Up! inks and cardstocks to complete this project. I used a design in Cricut’s Design Space to make the tag.
The men in my life could not be left out, so for the men who also attended church with me, I toned it down a little, but really enjoyed the process. This is an easy Father’s day card that I CASEd from My Favorite Things “Message in a Bottle” die set. The other piece to this cute shaker card is the bottle shaker piece that you can purchase separately. I added some seashells and hearts I had lying around. I used “Real Red” Stampin’UP! cardstock for the base.
This last card is simple but packs a lot of feeling. I used the “Back On Your Feet” stamp set by Stampin’UP and the “Say Hello” die-namic from My Favorite Things.
There are so many more I would love to share, but I have a bad habit of giving them away before I take pictures of them. I’m trying to break that habit, so keep looking for my posts and subscribe to my blog so you won’t miss a posting. If you see a card you like, and want to make some for yourself, let me know and I can connect you with a Stampin’Up! representative and direct you to the other companies I listed.
